Spain Feb HICP up 2.5 pct year-on-year

MADRID (AFX) - Spain’s harmonised index of consumer prices rose 2.5 pct in February from a year earlier, according to preliminary data released by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
The HICP rose 2.4 pct in January from a year earlier.
INE will report the final HICP figure on March 13.

Amazon's revenue rises but profit drops

Amazon.com’s profits are paying the price for higher taxes and heavy spending during the holiday months.
