Spain Feb HICP up 2.5 pct year-on-year
MADRID (AFX) - Spain’s harmonised index of consumer prices rose 2.5 pct in February from a year earlier, according to preliminary data released by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
The HICP rose 2.4 pct in January from a year earlier.
INE will report the final HICP figure on March 13.
INE’s harmonised data uses the same methodology for calculating inflation as EU statistics institute Eurostat.
